The county offers attractions for every age group. For the teenagers and children, there are ample places to go swimming, bowling, hiking, biking, etc. For those who love rides and roller coasters, a visit to the Oakwood theme park is a must. In this park, there is only speed, screams and fun.

For the visitor with a weak heart, there is the Pembroke castle. This magnificent stone castle built during the Norman times is still as impressive today as it was when built (albeit a little run down).

Along the interior there are lots of places to visit and things to do. One can play golf, go walking hiking or biking along the numerous trails. Some of the most spectacular views of the Pembrokeshire coastline can be seen by going to the northern region. Here one can see the towering cliffs, estuaries and large swells. One also gets a feeling on tranquillity which is only broken by the large waves hitting the rocks.

Much of Pembrokeshire is unspoilt and this is best viewed along the southern coastline. The soft sandy beaches are inviting and the water is crystal clear.

One can even visit Britain’s smallest city, St David’s. The city may be small but it has a splendid cathedral and there are many outdoor cafes, bars and delis. Just walking distance from the city is a first rate beach.

Accommodations are no problem in the entire county. There are hotels to fit all budgets.

For the individual who can’t sleep, the night life in towns like Tenby rivals anything that one may see in London. There are plenty of clubs, bars and discos. Every type of music is played, the beer is readily available and there is plenty of food.

Pembrokeshire offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in all of Britain and is a must visit site at least once.
